My friend just told me his WLM was stripped and "force" uninstalled. And it told him to go to Outlook. Is this true?? Remember I'm on Chinese Msn so I don't have the WLM client anymore. Since I'm on Win8 I've been using the MAIL app/default thing Win8 comes with.
And that is still working, and is basically considered hotmail since it is a microsoft only application. So this whole thing is confusing. If they got rid of WLMail then Why is the Win8 Mail app still working? People won't need to go to the dumb Outlook site.
anyone else got their Mail client taken from them?

Perhaps your friend is referring to the fact that Windows Live Hotmail users are being transferred to Outlook.com (see this)?

Ya I think that is what happened. I got this miscommunication from what he said.
But ya it's pretty stupid...
