Is it possible to have a developers zone for VB C++ , i know there is msnfanatic but i find that some of the members are not as nice when trying to help a fellow programmer , so maybe we could have one here.

Do you really think it would be used enough to justify it's existence?

i feel that a lot of ppl would you use , ones that have been programming for years , and the ones that wish to get into it , why not put up a forum for it for a week to test it , if its a hit then keep it , if its not , then get rid of it.

On a less sarcastic note Having a coders/devolpers sub forum in msn messenger or tech talk could be useful

Hmm i agree with matty's idea. Not that I would use it, but lot of people want to learn some programming specially for msn.

Where do you want the forum to be? Inside Messenger or Tech Talk, or on the main forum page? I suppose putting it on the index would be best, then it could cover Messenger-related programming, and just general stuff.

Any suggestions for the forum name/description?

Messenger Programming

Messenger Programming or just Programming, and then with subforums kinda like this:

- C++
- VB6
etc.

hmm no I think that would draw it out too much...people proficient in several languages won't want to have to browse all those forums and they'd all have hardly any posts.

I reckon an extra category should be added called Programming, then within that we would have:
- Programming
- Programming for Messenger
- Other Tech Talk (moved from the messenger section - i think it would be better suited here, and Messenger & Technology simply be called Messenger)

No DZ, make it on the index, no-one will find it otherwise, and it'll get lost, etc.. index = !!

I think either a sub-forum in tech talk or a new forum on the index page would be fine.  I personally think that the sub in tech talk would be best.

The reason I don't add these new forums quickly is because I want the members to decide how they want them set up...

Wabz, the other mods/admins are complaining about who should be allowed in the private forum...

Hmm... new category, eh? I personally think this would be good...
