R.I.P. Immy by matty on 10-15-2003 at 02:25 AM

You are the one who fills our days with happiness and joy.
You are the one who fills our heart with love.

Some of you knew her very well, some not at all, but recently our beloved Imogen(Immy as most of us knew her by) was taken from those who loved her. My deepest sympathies goes out to Vegard (her fiance) and her entire family. If anyone of them is reading this, I wish for you to know she will forever be in my heart and prarys, as well as the rest of the Plus! community.

Now please as a sign of respect, Please leave a post, and if you feel like, a speech about her.

(F)(L)Immy, you will forever be in my heart and prarys, I thank you for always being there for me when I needed you the most. And one day, we will meet again.(L)(F)
     Love For Always Matt

My Tribute to her...
Theres are her two favourite songs.

Dido - White Flag
And when we meet
Which I'm sure we will
All that was then
Will be there still
I'll let it pass
And hold my tongue
And you will think
That I've moved on....

Amanda Perez - Angel
God send me an angel
From the heavens above
Send me an angel to heal my broken heart
From being in love
'Cause all I do is cry
God send me an angel
To wipe the tears from my eyes

May you live a happy eternity in the skys with our beloved lord :)

RE: R.I.P. Immy by dotNorma on 10-15-2003 at 03:11 AM

So the whole community has a chance to show our condolences can maybe an admin or somebody with the power give here a special nick color like Chris's , maybe her favorite color. And where it would say "Senior Member or Elite Member" But a message of somekind like... R.I.P our beloved Immy... something like this.

http://mat.trexion.com/images/Firstattempt.gif << that was her Signature Banner. I feel so sorry for her. Didnt want to waste another post. Also If you can search for posts by her and read the one on what happens after you die. She lived life to her fullest.

good idea, pink is her colour from what i know,
RE: R.I.P. Immy by dotNorma on 10-15-2003 at 03:29 AM

I made a new signature in respect for her. It takes up the majority of characters you can use in yout sig but its worth it. If you want you can add it to your sig and it can be kinda like a chain letter. You can show your respect by adding it to your sig or make up your own in your own creative words. I was gonna make a banner but Im not very good at graphics so this is what i could do.

R.I.P. Immy by Menthix on 10-15-2003 at 11:33 AM

I never really knew Immy but i sure remember her from the post here on the forum and a few other messenger related forums.

My condolences. I came across a old post of her, it feels wierd reading it but it's the most beautifull thing i've read on this forum.

quote:
Ok over the years I've had way too much time to think this through... so.
Through my life I've believed different things for different resons based on my situation at the time. When I was younger and first started relising the consept of death and friends dying, it was heaven. Somewhere where my friends were and I could keep them alive in some way, somewhere where there wasn't the pain and suffering. I didn't manage to believe in that place long as much as I wanted to. As a nurse I relised that we all have our own ways of dealing with the thought and the eventuality. I think of it as something personal to explain something we can only guess about. We can't prove anything about what happens after and that scares most of us. The unknown is frightening and so is the thought of never seeing again loved ones again. I think when we reach the end of the line we'll know, and I hope that maybe we'll live again or see our love ones and find true bliss. Maybe in away we will never truely die as we'll always live on in the hearts and minds of the ones we leave behind. But untill that day I wouldn't worry about it. Live the life you have as full as you can, because tommorow doesn't have a garentee.

Imogen

You'll live in our hearts (F)

My condolences go out to all the people that know and love her...
It's very sad to hear something like this :'(

RE: R.I.P. Immy by Vazza on 10-15-2003 at 12:27 PM

As long as hearts remember,
As long as hearts still care,
We never part with those we love --
They're with us everywhere…

So may the precious memories
Of the one we held so dear
Bring peace and comfort to us now
And keep our loved one near.

RE: R.I.P. Immy by BiZaRrE on 10-15-2003 at 01:28 PM

i didn't know her at all, but i still feel sad when things like these happen. im sure we all know that she has gone to a much better place, to spend her time in eternity with the Lord. i want send my condolences to her friends and especially her family whom im sure will miss her the most. from what ive heard, she was a very nice and cheery person who always looked on the bright side of life, even though she knew what wouldve come sooner or later if her problem was not treated.

"She will always be with us in our hearts"

RE: R.I.P. Immy by musicalmidget on 10-15-2003 at 01:33 PM

RE: R.I.P. Immy by Guido on 10-16-2003 at 05:44 PM

:|

I met Immy half in the chat, half here in the forums.

I had lots of conversations with her, on MSN, here, the chat and Communatrix, and i think we became good friends... she was not only a pretty person, she was also equally beautiful in the inside.

From our common sympathy for Dido's songs (she showed me "white flag" for the first time) to her passages were she told how she felt, how weak, though she still kept on.

In fact, I recently set up her website's guestbook and helped here with her website less than two months ago. Those who want, please feel free to sign her website's guestbook at http://www.gfdd.net/hosting/~immy/gbook/ or visit her website at http://www.freewebs.com/imogen/

Rest in peace Immy.
We won't forget you. :(

i never said it was good, its just a round number with four "6" digits, thats not very common... anyway, I'm not supersticious or anything.

I guess we all have our time to leave, and this is hers.  Pity it was so soon.

RE: R.I.P. Immy by Muss on 10-17-2003 at 01:46 AM

hmmm...what can be said? not a whole lot :undecided:

I actually knew immy quite well, not as much as peopel like matty, but quite well.

She always used to be very upbeat about her situation, even though she realised how worthless hope was.

* Muss will quote a great, deep, song.

Tool Eulogy

quote:
She had a lot to say
She had a lot of nothing to say
We'll miss her
We'll miss her
She had a lot to say
She had a lot of nothing to say
We'll miss her
We'll miss her
We're gonna miss her
We're gonna miss her

It's so long now
We wish you well
You told us how you weren't afraid to die
Well so long
Don't cry
Or feel too down
Not all martyrs see divinity
But at least you tried

Standing above the crowd
She had a voice that was strong and loud
We'll miss her
We'll miss her
Ranting and pointing her finger
At everything but her heart
We'll miss her
We'll miss her
We're gonna miss her
We're gonna miss her

There's no way
To recall
What it was that you had said to me
Like I care at all
But it was so loud
You sure could yell
You took a stand on every little thing
And so loud

Standing above the crowd
She had a voice that was strong and loud and I
Swallowed her facade 'cause I'm so
Eager to identify with
Someone above the ground
Someone who seemed to feel the same
Someone prepared to lead the way and
Someone who would die for me

Will you?
Will you now?
Would you die for me?
Don't you fuckin' lie
Don't you step outta line
Don't you step outta line
Don't you step outta line
Don't you fuckin' lie

You've claimed all this time
That you would die for me
Why then are you so surprised
When you hear your own eulogy?

She had a lot to say
She had a lot of nothing to say
She had a lot to say
She had a lot of nothing to say

To ascend, you must die
You must be crucified
For our sins and our lies
Goodbye

:'(

My condolances to Immy's family and friends.

I also noted an entry in the guestbook written by her brother (posted august 31th):

Hey sis, how come I haven't signed your guestbook yet? Gotta
fix it ;) Well, you already know what I think. You have an
amazing talent for expressing emotions, and your graphics
are absolutely heartbreaking- which means that they are made
with great talent and they deliver the message brilliantly.
Thanks for such flattering description of me in the
"brothers" part, I'll live the rest of my life with a big
head and inflated ego now  You're the best friend and the
best sister anyone could ask for, and your selflessness and
your ability to love never seizes to amaze me. You're a true
angel, and I'm sure you have a pair of pink wings stashed
somewhere ;). And once again, to give you an even bigger ego
boost- wonderful website. Really. See you around later today
I hope!

It must be terrible for him now, esspecially since he liked her so much

[Image: msn_cry.old.gif] Darn... I wondered why she wasn't online anymore...  I didn't want to think the worst, thou it happened :(

Immy was one of the nicest persons I knew, so honest, brave, kind, fun...  she struggled a lot, sometimes loosing hope, but later she gained strength and kept fighting, she went tru a lot, she was suffering, but always replied with a smile, she had a boyfriend that made all possible to stay with her, even when he was in the Army and far away, he was what made her happier.

Darn.................... I feel really bad to know she's not with us anymore... *hughs* bless you Imogen Ann Ronning, and hope you're finally resting in peace....

If you want to know more about her, check out her webpage (already posted by GFD) and forums...

RE: R.I.P. Immy by CanadianOriginal on 10-28-2003 at 09:42 PM

I recognized the name, but I never spoke to her. Nonetheless, an internet community ties us like any other community, and now one of us is gone. The courage and strength Immy showed in her situation were of the purest kind, and she obviously contributed to many people here.

This world's loss is the next one's gain. Our community has it's first angel. May she rest in peace.

Condolences to her family, friends, her fiancé, and all who knew her.

An Irish saying I thought applied (written in pink, no less):

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there... I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow...
I am the diamond glints on snow...
I am the sunlight on ripened grain...
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you waken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of gentle birds in circling flight...
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry—
I am not there... I did not die...

My condolances to her family and all her loved ones. It was too bad that she knew she was going to die all along as she clearly states here: http://www.freewebs.com/imogen/entrance.htm I think that she is probably looking down from heaven right now and looking at our posts and thanking God for the chance to live. Maybe she was better off knowing her fate because then she could express her feelings with everyone and make sure she told everyone that she loved them. I truly regret not getting to know her better from what i have heard about her. But like they say.... She's in a better place now. (L)(f)Immy(F)(L)

My gf once read me that poem, her best mate read her it or gave her it before she committed suicide:( I know it ain't the best of subjects, but it's a nice way to remember them:) I hope wherever immy is now she's happy and doesn't have to worry about a thing.  There really isn't enough you can say about a thing like this*-)

I'm quite sorry I didnt come across this sooner, I have kinda been lost these past couple of months.

I spoke to Immy quite regularly on Plus! chat, and rather then say how sad I am, I'd like to reflect on how great she was. And just pause to celebrate that fact.

Thanks Immy.

My deepest sympathies goes out to Vegard (her fiance) and her entire family. If anyone of them is reading this, I wish for you to know she will forever be in my heart and prarys, as well as the rest of the Plus! community.
You know, that's actually really sad. An ex-friend I once had died at 17 a couple of years ago, he just died (there was no official cause of death, an autopsy was performed though they didn't discover anything except he hadn't taken drugs or anything).

I have this other ex-friend who's ex-girlfriend died at 17 too (I think, something 17-18ish anyway), and the sad thing is he let her believe he was still hers on her death bed while seeing some other slut.

I wish I could have met immy. she seems like a angel. I registered here so I could post a message here about immy.  from what I read she was a great girl who loved many and was loved back. this world is poorer having lost her and heaven is richer for having her. I believe she is soaring high with pink wings. God bless her family, friends and fiance.

I came here just a while ago... Thought it was appropriate to post my message in the guestbook here:

Immy,

Though I really never seen you around, I guessed I
sorta figured out you were one who posted in the pictures
section. May the Lord watch over you.

John 1:12 "To all
who received Him, to those who believe in His name, He gave
the right to become children of God."

Matthew 11:28-30
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I
will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest
unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is
light."

Rest In peace Immy.

Mark.

I was probably one of her closest friends of here, yet I've left it along time to pay my condolences.

It has been hard to get over. Its not got any easier, I still miss her a lot. I don't know what to say.

Immy I loved you. I know neither of us really believe in anything after death, but stll. I hope you live on.

I miss you Immy. I miss you so damn much. I wish I could speak to you. I wish we'd had more time.
