Hey, just wanted to let you know that you can use Cosmo Framer to view internal Mess.be pages without being redirected to the homepage. It allows you to give people direct links to any Mess.be page.

Current location: http://framer.wwbox.org/

Just click on "about" for more details. Enjoy! :happy:

Oh yeah, I forgot that detail...... It's called "framer" because it loads the specified URL in a frame. It frames it. It's a framer. Cosmo Framer. :p

RE: Cosmo Framer. by user13774 on 10-23-2003 at 02:13 PM

I think it's easier if mess.be turnes of THE DAMN FUCTION that u can't view internal links, without first going to the mess start page :@

RE: Cosmo Framer. by bach_m on 10-27-2003 at 01:13 AM

YAY!!! now i wish dwergs would just make it an internal function! its kinda annoying!

RE: Cosmo Framer. by lizard.boy on 10-28-2003 at 03:39 AM

lol all that makes the mess pages load the main page is about 2 lines of javascript..  ( i think. thats how i learned to do it)

code:
<script language="Javascript">
<!--

if (top.location != self.location) {
top.location = self.location.href
}

//-->
</script>

try disabling js in ur browser :P blah
* lizard.boy has never tried it

edit:formatting
RE: Cosmo Framer. by volkl on 10-28-2003 at 06:08 AM

its not exactly that, its similar... but it could be modified in 2 minutes to make it load the current page in the frame and not the main page, in fact i've done it for another job - i just dont get why mess doesn't do it.
RE: Cosmo Framer. by lizard.boy on 10-28-2003 at 10:07 PM

ya i could porbally do it too.. i just recently learned frames+javascript

oops that was the wrong code thats a framebuster code :D

First of all, you didn't make "a Cosmo Framer". Cosmo Framer is one of its kind. It's unique. It's ours, it came to us! Thieves!!!!!!! FILTHY LITTLE HOBBITSES!!!!!!!!!

Second of all, the original Cosmo Framer code is much older than four months, I believe (right, GF... er... Gweedo?:)).

And besides, mine's got the MAGNIFICENT & UNCANNY address bar! :D :-/
