IS there any blockchecker Plug In for MsgPlus ?? I mean not something line Triople ...

I mean something, when a person goes offline, it automatically checks if the person is really offline, or he just blocked you. I knowsomething like that was in dMSN ... But i don't like that program's design.

There is Wouters Real Status check Plugin, it doesn't check automaticly for you, but its reliable and accurate.

Small Problem

the Triople blocker checker is very accurate, and with the new msn messenger 6.1 tabs package it is easier than ever to acces, cuz it has a "blocker checker" tab built right into msn! very useful

yeah i know but it still works great...i was just recommending the tab incase he hasnt found it yet, cuz it is easier than goin to the website...but other than triopole, i dont know any others sorry!

Well if anyone is interested in making a block checker plugin, I sorta know how Triople works. Triople opens a window with the asigned email and sends some sorta message.

could a plugin be made that you could type like /xblock <address> and it would send that to tripole and return the status in the convo window? kinda like how you can return google search results and stuff in the conversation window? that would be neat.

i downloaded the stuff you said to and it doesnt work for me.  this is what i do...

i open a chat window with someone thats online then i typ Testing real Offline then i hit send on the contact thing.  then with the other program i hit start but when i do that it comes up with hungreds if different things.  they all have like 100's of different numbers in them.  What am i doing wrong???

I dunno, what Messenger version you use, Wouter, but packet data "216" never comes up with me, not with contacts that are online, not with contacts that are blocked... "217" comes up plenty when you type and send messages though (even if the contact has blocked you during the chat, the packet data is still "217"!)

And also, you can't use this with messenger alone cause, messenger won't allow opening a chat-window if a user has a offline-status...

I tested vsniff...
but when you are on IRC you get thousands of adresses, but it shows join and parts
and i try it out with a friend, he blocked me, but it don't show some numbers...

i tested vsniff again...
a friend who has blocked me for 2minutes, is NOT in the list...

5. there are nearly 20'000 ports...and i dont want to check all, for the "one" port 1863... so i checked the first thousand..

I found a sniffer thats alot easier!
Found it right away - but is a bit different to find 206/7 - Just search - It's the first number as the pic shows - but theres alot

It's very accurate, but i need a server to host it.. So sometimes it may be down. When down, i put notifications on the forum, and anyway your list can be saved, and you always can check status with OSI.

My checker shows display names, and you can check several accounts at the same time. And more faster than others because coded in python

Usually up 75% of time, but will be down this week end, cause i go fishing, so try it on monday

Fishing problems will be solved as soon as i find a server to host my little app !
