Get warned...Fake Hotmail promotion mail [mess.be] by Mnjul on 11-04-2003 at 11:16 AM

There is from Mess.be's news:

quote:
Drewgs says:
Laser_iCE has just sent me an email that claims to give you extra space, a larger contact list (500 contacts), the ability to see who's blocked you and MSN polygamy if you forward the message to enough friends. Be warned Messers that this email is a fake and shouldn't be taken seriously. It links to the Extra Storage page which may make it look real, but it's not. This is another chain letter (including the usual spelling mistakes) which Microsoft has always disapproved. Official MSN statements can be recognised by the butterfly icon in front of the email in your inbox. Conclusion: do NOT forward this one, because nothing will happen.

hahahaha people dont understand, msn monitors your account status not by how many emails you send, but by when the last time you logged in by. If you EVER receive an email by "hotmail" or anyother fake, and they ask you to "send this to X people", it is obviously fake and put it in the trash...

p.s. you can tell it is truely from hotmail if beside the message in the inbox, there is a little msn logo there...that proves it is genuine hotmail/msn material(y)

omg can't you just tell it's fake, it made me laugh more than anything.

Send to X people - From Microsoft? lol OK!
