I've started a caption contest on my website (http://www.vandango.co.nr). It is judged every Sunday night or so (the winner isn't chosen by me) and a new contest started as soon as the judging is over.

To enter please visit http://www.vandango.co.nr/captions, remember to include your name and check back on Sunday night to see if you're the winner.

Yeah it does that so that the script doesn't break. It's my first ever PHP script. I've edited the Captions file so that there's no \ in your entry.

Hmm, I notice it didn't do that to a guy before me though. I understand PHP has to escape the apostrophes but it's annoying. :P It did this to my script too once - if you find out how to stop it, let me know, please. :D

This weeks contest now closed. "Bare Naked Ladies" was the winner.

New one opened - picture is REALLY random.

Does anyone know how to get rid of PHP escaping the ' and " by slashes?

Actually, I've seen it before... it's not that original, but I agree that it's a cool idea.

I've thought about making my own but never got around to it... :-/ I always come across funny images and think of possible captions... :lol:

I suppose if I made one now it would seem like I'm trying to compete with vandango... :p

Last weeks caption contest was won by: "My Dying Bride".

This weeks has just been started, the last of the "normal" pictures before I move onto a Christmas theme.

Get Captioning (if that word didn't exist before, it does now!) :P
