Studying I&E @ the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
I&E loosely translates to 'Computer science & Economics'
Oh yeah, it's a double degree; when i'm finished i'll be Master of Economy + Master of Computer science.
The computer bit actually consists of Java & VB programming. Later on it could be extended with some PHP, MySQL and C++!

I actually do sell computers and stuff for a living; so if u need some comp's come to me! :p

RE: Jobs by shine on 11-25-2002 at 01:41 PM

Its actually quite fun see I used to support computers only. Now I support iPods first then if desktops get busy I help out, which isn't that often. I mean I sit and wait like 3 hours for a call :)
RE: Jobs by Twan on 10-07-2004 at 04:46 AM

I deliver newspapers in the morning 6 times a week :dodgy:   but I get €180 per month so That's nice (H)

RE: Jobs by matty on 10-07-2004 at 05:24 AM

I will let you guys in on a little secret. We electronically timestamp in and out for work on our computers. Now the program that records it all says I worked 104.86 hours last 2 weeks. I get page $10.27/h. Now anything after 44 Hours/week is overtime which is time and a half. (10.27/2+10.27 = 15.41)

Now normal pay would be this: 10.27*80 = 821.6
Now we factor in the 8 hours extra that is not time and a half: 82.16

Now we factor in the over time hours: 104.86 (over all hours) - 88 (hours not overtime) = 16.86
16.86 * 15.41 = 259.81

So lets add this all up

   821.60
     82.16
   259.81
  1163.57 (Before taxes)

RE: Jobs by Vazza on 10-07-2004 at 06:57 AM

Currently studying a 4 year course in Occupational Therapy at University (if anyone would like clarification of OT, please PM and I'll try my hardest to explain). Don't have a job at the moment but going to speak to the nice people at ASDA Walmart today to see what they say although I get the feeling when I mention the words "I go home for 2 weeks at christmas" they aren't going to like it.
Before that, I worked weekend (and during the week when I could get it) as a petrol station forecourt attendant (which means if I can't get a job over the summer back home, I'm going back there, yay :) )

Yea, thats where all the good csi's start...

There are rules about working as a student, 13+14 you can work a maximum of 5 hours per day, 25 hours per week, but only 2 hours on a sunday (5 on saturday), if you're 15-17, you can work 8 hours a day maximum, but 36 hours a week in total, only 4 hours on sunday, (8 on saturday)

I understand what you mean, its just not that good an idea, if you stop working out for a month, your arms get saggy and stuff, and its even harder to get muscely again. I don't like it when people are so muscly they can't look at the floor, they just look stupid. PLus, you look like you have a small pecker..

see how completely sickening that is, its just lame seriously, there is no need to get that muscley at all, give me one reason thats decent why you need to get muscley, then i'll workout more often.
RE: Jobs by RebelSean on 10-10-2004 at 08:26 PM

I dont want to look like tat..that is sickning...I just want to have muscels that all not to be THAT built :p
