Hi all, you can download the new build of MSN Messenger in the official Page messenger.msn.com, I was looking for custom tabs for it, but it seems to be too new.

I have that messenger, but not the tab!

RE: MSN Messenger 6.1.0207 realeased. by bach_m on 12-19-2003 at 03:19 AM

tabs are by country. not version

RE: MSN Messenger 6.1.0207 realeased. by CookieRevised on 12-19-2003 at 03:25 AM

The tabs are country depended. This means you can have some other tabs then your mate who lives in another country. It could be that Canadians have the eBay tab...

(SmartBarXP doesn't alter your tabs in any way)
(talking 'bout tabs: Alternative TABS in MSN v6.1.0207 (How-to) (also games))

I always like to keep upto date with stuff. A 5Mb download makes no odds to me, tho if I was on dial-up I might be a bit miffed.

I don't think there is a way to find out the version without downloading it. Of course, there is always someone who downloads it before anyone you, so they will know what version it is, and you can read about it on the forums and one web pages I guess :undecided:

that's not really an error (or at least not always), if the server goes down for no reason or something else then it's not a bug in msn messenger :)

check the date at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?F...7eb&displaylang=en
if it is not 12/18/2003 then there is a new update

I was told by DX that it's a dodgy cache problem from msn 6 to 6.1.. Well, whatever - im not downloading it yet - especially if this Signing in and out crap is still not fixed.. :-\

uhm..i still have the e-mail notifies error.no matter if i set msn to notify me about incoming mails or not...i realized i got 4 e-mails and after i checked the mailbox msn showed i still had those:S.

same for the "auto login" if connected to internet....that made my connection crash twice lately.

any hint?:)thx in advance and Happy Holidays everyone!

Not all changes are visible. In fact, most changes aren't visible at all. There were big changes in 6.1.0207. For example, a certain DLL is replaced with a working version (that's right, in .203 they shipped a corrupted DLL)

It "could" be a cache problem, but not always...

That's not an error. That's a limitation of your mailserver. Some servers reply with the total number of emails in your inbox, not with the total number of unread emails.

I also doubt that this has something todo with MSN Messenger. Maybe your connection isn't setup 100% correctly...

blah... now I'm replying to old threads... :/
