Due to recent attacks on the channel, i've set invite only on the #msgplus channel. Any other op will probably think I did the wrong thing..but I had no choice. I'll restore the channel now, to see if the attacks continue.

I posted this to inform you. If you wish to get into the channel, pm me (EvilSeph) or another op like Shaun. If the attacks are continuing, the channel will remain locked until the main ops come on and assess the situation.

The attacks seem to have stopped. Channel will remain open unless another attack occurs. Just so you know why you can't get into the channel whenever you can't =P

maybe not, just happened again, only a small one but still, the sad fucks seem to believe its fun to try and get rid of a support channel. fucking asses.

Wrong, they're attacking the network, not only #msgplus

bleh. the network is for the support channel mainly, so pff. their attacking irc.msgplus.net, its the support network

Alright, we think we know who did it..well..their nickname and will remove their access to the server..

The attacker admitted to doing it in a Private Message on IRC and I then dropped his IP from the server, however he has a dynamic IP and I'm not gonna drop an entire range

It should be ok for now

BTW they attacked many channels, including #plus!lite

Well..we were bored. Some people came in, we helped them. They left. Next, we had tons of bots joining and parting the channel. DXtremz wasn't there at the time. I decided to lock teh channel and set +i for a few minutes. Removed it after, it continued later on when DXtremz was on..and now we have hopefully stopped it.

In short, someone was lame and flooded irc.msgplus.net with bots.

Lots of Bots \o/

Its ok, its open now, I won't be on much longer but sock should be on soon, so if anything goes wrong then, he can sort it out

One of the only like three times i come into #msgplus there's trouble.. lol - well at least its sorted now

tis the most annoying thing though. your sitting there, talking away and then you get hundreds of bots blah, silly people thinking they're god because they have a new script to play with, w00t for them !

Hmmmm Bots dont bother me I just set +m and voice anyone who needs it  They soon get bored if it's just a channel attack
