Yes ladies and gentlemen, the Alienware we were expecting has arrived !

Intel D875PBZ Motherboard
Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHZ 512K L2 Cache 800MHZ FSB
2 Corsair 512MB DDR PC3200LL XMS
16X DVD-ROM
2 Seagate Barracuda 80GB 8mb cache SATA - RAID 0 (300 MB/second)
DVD Burner Plextor PX-708A
Atech 8 in 1 Pro 9 media reader
Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 6.1
Geforce FX 5700 Ultra 128MB

It takes 45 second to burn 300 MB on a cd.
Test with Quake 3 1024*768 32 bits : 322.5 FPS

Cough cough, RAID 0 uses striping to increase speed. RAID 1 uses mirroring which has no increased performance. RAID 5 offers a bit of both.

Still installing the new comp.. I can confirm: this new pc is sweeet . However, it seems that I lent my Visual Studio CDs to someone, I'd better get them back soon. That's always in that kind of situation that a new Messenger version is released

you should get one of those monitors that are actually made up of four lcds and put that on your desk to blow people away.

Patchou doesn't care as long as his appartment doesn't smell any kind of parfume .

As for my computer, I won't start customizing it with tons of little leds.. it's pure crystal power :gfdrin: . By the way, the case reaaally looks nice, much better than on the photos posted and much better than any other case I've seen anywhere else. I guess I'll soon have to stop playing with my new toy and start 2004 modifications on the Messenger Plus! internet world... bha.... I'll play alittle longer (NFS Underground is so cool).

here be a site that has sum tutorials on (co) moding, if me member ight they hav sum LED tuts. i was looking at it cuz if The ™ Foundation pay off ill be getin me a new one and gonna deck it out. getin like a cheap dell or gateway and buy new case, LED fans, cold cathods, and UV stuff.
