If someone votes in a poll shoudn't be the new post image be active, because now you have to go into the thread and see if there is a new vote, if this option will be included I think the server will be less loaded

But I can't see why you'd care if there was a new vote in a poll? Although on the post page it'd be nice to see how many poll votes there'd been.

I was thinking about replacing "replies" with "votes" when you view the Poll Center, but I dunno... it's kind of a big modification. 
I think changing the "new post" image for all polls with new votes would be confusing... there aren't actually new posts.

It's a good idea in theory but perhaps give it a miss as it's pretty pointless to spend a lot of time on something so fickle
