Length (number of lines) automessage by Yeppo on 02-24-2004 at 07:50 PM

So I wanted to write a real long script for this auto message (I'm very bored indeed).
First I noticed that you can put a little count of characters in the automessage textbox, wich, I think, should really be considered to be expand in the next version of Messenger Plus!
So, please note, mister programmer... (thanks)

Now the real bug:
After I trimmed my text so that it would fit in the textbox, I tested it with another MSN messenger and passport. I noticed that after only 9 (nine) lines, the cycle allready started over!! I typed at least like 30 lines!

Anyone any idea?

Maybe anyone can suggest maybe another msn-bot wich can automessage big amounts of lines ordered?

Thanks!

I think Plus is the one that can do the auto-messages...and as for your bug I think 9 is the maximum, I've never used more than 4 though, I just think that's true.

Yep, 9 actions is the maximum you can add in an auto-away message, and that's why you may have felt limited in space if you tried to input 30 :). However, quick-texts allow you to put way more text and actions (20 max) and as you can use quick text aliases in perso-away messages, you can in theory chain a lot more commands, depending on what you want to do :).
