6.2 has not been released. it was, in fact, unreleased. and it is incredibly buggy. Plus! 2.54.0075 wont help this problem ( i dont think).

this has been mis-moved, the alerts are messenger plus alerts, not msn messenger alerts, so its related to messenger plus! not msn messenger

m..... this happened to me with MP!3 but after rebooting it all worked again :D

i tried re-installing and didn't work :| :P

Well, Messenger Plus! is supposed to detect the size of Messenger's toasts and adapt its own toasts size with it. If would really appreciate if one of you could find a way to reproduce the problem and give me more info about it at mplus@patchou.com :). Thanks!

The same thing happened to me, it was after I installed Tabbed MSN by Wouter and his toasts where big (the ones that said "Tabbed MSN Enabled.") I minimized MSN went to play a game which was running in fullscreen and came back and the Plus! toasts were the size of the Tabbed MSN ones.
