I've just really noticed this tiny bug when posting as my TEST user...
If logged out as that and logged back in as Johnny_Mac. However looking at Johnny_Test profile still lists him as "online". 
I'm assuming this has something to do with the cookies because the threads I viewed as Johnny_Mac were also marked as read with Johnny_Test.
Blah.. just so you know.

Yeah this has happened before it is the cookies...like when Traxor was banned and he was still online for ages...

Well isnt that the timeout on the whos online page? 'm not on about that...
If you don't log out your still listed for 15/20 mins, cant remember which.

The online in profile and posts is not worked out from the who's online database. It is worked out on the users last visit time..
if (time now - 900) > user's last visit then they are online.
