Hello everyone,

I thought some of you would be interested to see the "version info" file of Messenger Plus! 3 before the software is actually released. Well, here it is!

I hope you'll like what you see. Note: not every bug fix/improvement is written in this file. If they were, the list would be more than twice longer (really).

Just a quick response to that, Remote assistance is activated but remote assistance works only with Windows Messenger not Msn Messenger so what kind of assistance would be provided Patchou?

hmmmmmm so im guessing its for windows xp if only works with windows messenger

The thing is i'm running Xp buut just using Msn Messenger, but what service will be provided to me as I type this new feature ?

maybe remote resistance, could invite a person into the conversation

for example, the mod feature in bot3k2

i think this would be a good feature, but you would need alot of helpers

(lol, after seeing TheBlasphemer in irc, dont add him to this list)

ahh I understand /assist all it does is a short cut to the person ur talking to for remote assistance!!!!!! IM A SMART ONE!

Amazing, this makes me want Plus! 3 even more, Thank's to you and the Beta testers (also the translators) we will soon be heaving a better Messenger....

Note about /assis : unfortunately it doesn't invite call Chromo with a big Chromo-Signal high in the sky. It just triggers remote assistance in Messenger . If your Messenger doesn't have it, it will do nothing . This has been added to help remote assistance with less experienced people. It's easier to say "type /assist" instaed of "go to that menu, now you should see somethign talking about remote assistance, ...". This was an old suggestion

when you filter words, that people have sent you, shouldnt they know that the words have been filters

ps : maybe a template could be made for this

eg :
no swearing template

could this be made as a plugin? could a plugin use this feature
would be stored in a data file hope so, cus then patchs could edit them

That's quite a list!! You clearly have put a lot of work into the new version, and I think it will show when its released on Sunday

And of course there are all the hidden fixes you have made. Its going to be a good weekend for me!!

ahah: The uninstaller has been redesigned. i wont need that

btw...about the remote assistance..ive used that yesterday with my "gf".. she asked me if i wanned to take a look.. so i said yes.. i went to her folders pics and stuffs.. ahah

then i had to take my sister to school..and i let her take control of my computer..when i came back..i had another wallpaper.. a folder and an image she made with paint..
she used my browser to surf www.. oh well.. she opened my files... oh well.. it was funny

im not sure, because it was most definantly not included in the list as an improvemnet/change whatever. but the toasts by msn itself allow you alt-tab to them, like the contact coming online. is there a possibility that this can happen with msg plus toasts? i am VERY sorry if this is in the forum, but i tried looking else where and failed. it would be cool, because i use it to alt tab to it, and hit space to open a chat window with the person. would this be possible? or already done? thank you


oh, and one other glitch, that im SURE your aware of, but not 100% so doesnt hurt, is just that when you try and use other lines, by ctrl up/down, when you have emoticons in the text window enabled, the emoticons arent caught.. thank you

umm dude,read the first post....patchou clearly outlines all the different features and improvements in the link he provides.

if you two are reffering to me, he said that he didnt include them all into the list, and these two seem like very trivial things to me, and would most likely make it to the list

It's been awhile since I've been on here, because of not having access to a PC most of the time.

I've been keeping tack of MP!3 the best I can, and it looks great.

Could someone PM me the list or somehow provide me with the list in some way?
