When someone messages you, creating a new conversation, all or part of the message is displayed in the alert box in the lower right hand corner. However, the message there does not get filtered by the word filter. In the conversation window however the word is filtered as normal.

Is there any way that the alert messages could be filtered too? I personally use my word filter to cut out swearing, but it's not much use if my contacts happen to use a swear word in their first messages to me.

Currently you can't do anything to filter the text on the alerts (I don't know if that's done on pourpose or not). However, those alerts are displayed for a small amount of time so it won't harm you very much, does it?
