/all command in conjuction with text replacement by ShooksterLeet on 05-26-2004 at 03:50 AM

Hey, I just signed up for these forums just to report this bug so if it's a repeat please be nice :)

The first thing I did when I got mp!3 was to have it word filter "brb" to "be right back". Everything seemed to be working fine until I tried to say "/all brb". It sent the message "!all be right back" to all my open windows.

Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 6.2.0133
Messenger Plus! Version: 3.00.0092

I'm also using SpeedyMSN (not sure if that'll make a difference)

Anyway, I'd also like to say that this is a great product and an amazing piece of software. Congrats on giving msn the options it should already have :)

Can you tell me more about this problem, I don't understand it... did it actual;ly send "!all" at the beginning? if so, can you reproduce the problem?

EDIT: I checked the code, this should happen only if you send "/all /all brb" (two times /all, it'S a protection).

Wow, funny how that happens.. Apparently I had "brb" set to "/all be right back". That would solve my problem, eh? Looks like yet again I leaped before I looked

Sorry 'bout the false alarm. Thanks for your time :)
