i recently just got a new computer and had my old chatlog files moved onto it. but i tried to open it with notepad and wordpad and it turns up as a whole lot of characters. i have tried it again this plus installed and still get the problem and i how do u password protect ur chat logs?
(I have msn plus 3 and msn 6.2 on XP)

yeh i did
(i figured how to encrypt the new ones now but how do you get rid of the add banner?)

U can protect ur logs with a password by encrypting em:
Plus > preferences > Privacy protection >passwords
Hide Adbanner: Plus > Preferences > contactlist > general options > check Hide the advertisement banner
