Are you talking about the Microsoft address book? I think items can be automatically added to it by Outlook Express and stuff...

You have probably forgotten to activate the key lock on your cellphone. I have never had a Siemens my self, but i guess the ? appear when you hit # twice. So you have pressed 6, 9 and # which is underneath eachother by a mistake, and later pressed the Save-key by a mistake. Very common!

I searched the forum for "April Fool" and found this because someone had April Fool as a suggestion to your problem. But I think it has been made very clear that the reason was that you have forgotten to lock your keypad, so I don't think there is necessary to any more people to post that as an answer...
