I will buy it but when the price goes a little bit down.
The price in that time was around 500 now it is expected to be around 150
It's coming 2005 to Europe and U.S.

looks pretty sweet but there would be no way for a poor person like me to afford it    even if i saved up until 2005

I got one of the first PS2's. I'll be damned if I don't get this aswell.

I want psp so badly coz it isnt just a console you can hear music see videos and with some addons u will be able to have a keybord a camera and others to come like seeing tv or something so   this is very very usefull

You sya the GB...but it's not the GB, it's the DS
It's a bulk piece of craptacular goodness

and FYI, there are already thousands of ppl that are going to buy the PSP because they are PS fans

firstly, its the DS not the GB so

secondly, since the psp can connect to the ps2 u have 2 consider all the people with a ps2 will have an incentive to buy the psp

and the pocketstation was only released in japan and some other places, AND its nothing like the psp, it was meant to be a little extra thing like a tamagotchi thing, or like the thing for the dreamcast.

Dont look at PSP first as a console! Even if Sonyis going to promote it more as a console than a  gadget which i think is wrong.

BTW Ezra posted a poll to vote between Sony PSP and Nintendo DS, if u like Sony PSP vote for it if u dont vote for Nintendo.

It MAY also only let you lsiten to music.play movies through those sony memory sticks...

Hey people bad news UMD disks won't be writable by us an they are not planning to luanch a device t do so..

As blade said we still have the memory stick which actually is very good too check the new page i added its very complete with very very informations.

So people.. 7 months after the last post on this thread... im here to ask you this: is the release time (25 march) delayed for the psp?

And the price.? is it more epxnesive?... i saw at engadget..but i cant believe.. i cant wait for it..

Actually the release date is supposed to be March 15th, and the price will be between $200 and $300  (closer to $200 for the base model, closer to $300 for the deluxe kit).

1) Yes there will be a GTA for PSP (will be similar to GTA 3)
2) I don't know if GT4 will be online playable, but it will be WLAN playable (I don't think any of the launch games have online capability)
3) I don't know WHERE you can get a wireless router where you live, but go for D-Link or Lynksys if you want a cheap but good router, and Belkin if you want an AWESOME router

The thing is that the DS and the PSP are about the same price, but the DS has the spec.s of an N64 with no video or MP3 playback, but the PSP has the spec.s of a PS2 and has video and MP3 playback. What would you rather have?

omg this psp thing looks a beaut i want one so bad does anyone know when it will be comming out in austrlia and the prices and with the net play thingy what does that mean sort of like xbox live do you have to have broadband on your comp?

You'll need broadband, and it will be free, but the Australian release won't be until mid summer .

oh well we cant get broadband where i live and  i phoned up the local game shop and they said june which is my bday month so ill ask for it for my bday thanks anyway blade
