Do you use Windows XP? I'll assume that ;)

Well, maybe you need to install some drivers. They should have been given to you when you bought it.

maybe you should go to the shop and ask for a new cd, or go to the manufacturer page and download the drivers from there.

I don't think that can be done with the registry... btw, do you have the service pack 1 (SP1) and all the updates of XP?

I'm saying all what i know, really :) I haven't more ideas... :P did you tried to connect it to other computer with xp? (it may sound also a noob question, sorry, but what i want to know is: Is the problem with your Windows, with Windows, with your player or with that model of player?)

Im pretty sure its a problem with just my XP. i need someone to tell me how to fix windows so that it adds drive for removable storage devices. Do you know anyone who knows how to do this?
