Msgplus.net news by Patchou on 06-13-2004 at 10:54 PM

Hello everyone,

The first 14 translations of the web site have been posted today. Visitors from other country can now access to the download and features page more easily and get help in their own language (when available through external links). More languages are on their way, in about a week or two, the web site should be synchronized with the software to offer the same languages options.

Today also marks an important change in the Messenger Plus! merchandise store. From now on, all the benefits made in the store will be doubled by myself and will be donated to the Red Cross. I hope many of you will encourage this action (the benefit on most merchandise is around $2 to $3).

Last note: auto-update has finally been enabled. Please, remember to be nice with people reporting problems. Thank you :).

Patchou

It doesn't work with FireFox.

In Internet Explorer it changes the language and takes you to the downloads page.

In FireFox you choose a language and nothing happens.

patchou, i really respect everything you're doing, its like being an idol to lots of ppl, teaching them that you shouldn't be selfish with you money, but you should give to charity.

From the start, all you wanted to do was provide fun fo r users, and thats exactly wat you have done :)

RE: Msgplus.net news by user27089 on 06-14-2004 at 11:04 AM

lol, if only it worked like that. And as for havign a cool PC and going to Disneylabnd once in a while, that's not exactly what I call being excentric :p.

Anyway, thanks for the comments, the site looks cooler now with the translations.

Works now.

BTW, for those who have English set up as their default browser language or their language hasn't been translated yet and haven't noticed the language auto detection, here's a screenshot to show you :P

It lets you go directly to your translated page or hide the bar definitely, which puts a link in the footer to restore the bar afterwards.

The website's cool :)

But, if you don't mind, can you also put English in the select-your-language section?

at the bottom of every translation there's a link to go back to the english page :).

Guido, thanks for solving it :).
