I can get a ATI Radeon 9200 256MB AGPx8 Graphics Card for £40. RE: Should i buy it??? by Garndell on 06-21-2004 at 06:00 AM
If you plan on playing current of future games don't. If gaming isn't your cup of tea then yea, go for it. RE: Should i buy it??? by Eljay on 06-21-2004 at 06:01 AM

are there ne (cheap) graphics cards that u would recommend that would be capable of playing modern and future games?? RE: Should i buy it??? by Garndell on 06-21-2004 at 06:57 AM 9600XT, 9700 Pro, 9800 Pro, 5900XT, 5700 Ultra all dropping in price and all capable of holding their own for a while. At the moment 128MB is pretty much same performance wise if not better than most 256MB cards. RE: Should i buy it??? by toddy on 06-21-2004 at 11:20 AM
i have an ATI Radeon 9200 256MB AGPx8 Graphics Card and it works fine with all my games, most of which are new. for example RE: Should i buy it??? by Pyroteq on 06-21-2004 at 11:25 AM What about Asus or Nividia GeForce? RE: RE: Should i buy it??? by Eljay on 06-21-2004 at 02:58 PM

quote: of course you lost the box didnt you? remember talk about warez and copying software isnt allowed here RE: Should i buy it??? by toddy on 06-21-2004 at 04:21 PM
quote: yeh i did lose the boxes and yes i do know talk about copying software isn't allowed RE: Should i buy it??? by .blade// on 06-21-2004 at 04:26 PM If you have the money, stray away from GeForce and stay with ATI Radeon. ATI just released its brand new 256 mb video card at E3 this year, and if you have about $300 or $400 USD laying around, and you are a serious gammer, then that's your card right there. Otherwise, Try to buy a non-AGP ATI card, 128 mb or 256 mb, which start at about $250 Canadian for a good 128mb one. RE: Should i buy it??? by Garndell on 06-21-2004 at 09:41 PM
If you want to buy nVidia it is up to you. I would avoid PCIe until it becomes more widespread. The X800 (which Halo nutter) is mentioning is a good card, but don't believe benchmarks. ATi are in the docks for using tweaks that are against fairness. |
