i have NIS 2003, can someone please tell me how to allow a program access to the internet cos programs like kazaa are stuck on CONNECTING and go no further. can someone tell me how to allow these programs

Open the firewall an check applicationlist ;)

won't a program scan (which programs are allowed to access the internet) do the trick and it could be it gets stuck because your list of internet-access is full ( got that the other day cause I had 1000+ in my list)

Norton Internet Security 2004 at least pops up a window the first time KaZaA (kazaa.exe), KaZaA Lite (or K++) (kpp.exe) tries to connect to the internet.  Usually theres a "Remember" feature that remembers what you say to it.  I assume it is the same with Norton Internet Security 2003.

yes eXoenDo it duz do this on 2003 as well
neway Freaky Guy open up the norton main window and selct firewall
go to programs and find the list of programs you have allowed/blocked internet access too
check all the programs that u have blocked 2 make sure u aint blocked programs u want 2 use
