suggestion/question by cooldude_i06 on 07-01-2004 at 01:12 AM

i dont know if this has been posted before as im new to the forums but....

is it possible to add a feature to Plus! or make a plugin so that it can detect if a particular file is run and automatically change ur status to a predifined one. this would be helpful as if u start a game u wouldnt have to change the status. i know bout the shortcut keys, but sometimes u forget to use them.

also, is there a way to have a shortcut key to change ur status to Online??

If you go into MSN Messenger's options and go Tools > Options > Personal (My Status Sub-Section) and check the one about showing my as busy when running a full-screen program. Mind you, it doesn't always work...

can it even be done...or am i asking the impossible???

I think it can be done, but then it has to "scan" your computer all the time to see which processes are running.

would it require a lot of memory to have a plugin running and detect the start of exe's??

RE: suggestion/question by Kryptonate on 07-01-2004 at 11:04 PM

depends on how fast you want it to detect them.
