[Sgstn/Rqst] Override text format change by M-Head on 07-04-2004 at 07:46 PM

Recently I discovered what override text format does - and I think it's pretty cool. Sometimes I don't like others' fonts, so it suits me. However, sometimes it's slightly comfusing when everything is the same - which is where my suggestion comes into play.

Currently, my conversation would look like this:

Person 1 says:
ABC
Person 2 says:
123
Person 3 says:
DEF

That's the problem, it's all the same. What I'm saying (without actually saying it) is that it would look much better like this:

Person 1 says:
ABC
Person 2 says:
123
Person 3 says:
DEF

I'm not sure if it's possible, as it may be that this feature of MsgPlus just makes all text the same as you've chosen. But if it is possible, I think it would be cool if there was a menu where you could choose custom colours (maybe fonts, too) for contacts' text. It would obviously appear in the Plus! Preferences menu.

This could potentially be a Plus! Plugin (maybe, not sure at all), but as a feature bult into MsgPlus it would be a lot more solid.

plugins of plus can't do that. it has to be a feature of plus itself.

Now that this feature has backing, do you think it will be implemented?

Hmmm I know this thread is a bit old, but I agree, it would be a very nice feature to have
