Hi. this is a plugin for Msgplus. called TabbedMSN. ok everything installed fine and seems to be working. problem is, when i have 2 or more conversations going, how do i switch between people. i haven't figured that out yet. and if there's anything better out there than TabbedMSN, can you please direct me to it. thanks.

Don't the windows switch when you click the tabs?

Sorry i posted my reply as a new thread with the subject line "yeah." the moderator can delete it. well yeah, the problem is i don't see any tabs on my MSN messenger so i was trying to find a way. it's very strange. is there any settings you can change on it.

the tabs are shown at the top of the chat window. (check attactment)

hi. thanks for showing me that. well, my plugin does show on my plugins list. everything is fine except that it won't show. guess maybe i have to reinstall MSN messenger because i have modified it. like i added a thing where you can have MSN polygamy. stuff like that.  thanks anyway.

yes it's enabled. you can contact me via msn.. my msn id is rnb237. i have enabled it, disabled it, restarted it.. all to no avail.

I've just thought of something... do you hide the menu bar? If so, that could also be hiding the tabs.

what do you mean i hide the menu bar? if it's hidden, how do i unhide it. i installed cameno and that works fine with msn.

I believe Cameno embeds the convo windows in its own. TabbedMSN probably adds a new menubar or something to the convo window.

To hide/unhide the menu bar, use the small button in the top left:

ok i tried hiding it and unhiding it, same problem. i can't see any tabs. haha i have no idea what's wrong.

ok ok lol.. this is so funny.. the tabs aren't displayed on top, but at the bottom and ONLY if it's not maximized. haha. is that how tabbedMSN works.. the tabs are displayed at the bottom?

I imagine you can change that.

There doesn't seem to be that option it seems... also, I don't like the way it starts Windows Messenger when you enable it. If I had written that plugin, I'd make sure it didn't run Windows Messenger at all.

Quit Messenger, then run the installer, clicking 'unInstall'. Then you can restart Messenger, and it should be gone. If not, manually remove TabbedMSN.dll from Plus!'s plugins folder (usually C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\Plugins).

I think, with TabbedMSN and Cameno, that there are already enough tabbing plugins available.

I have my own seperate question regarding Tabbed MSN.

Is it possible for the tabs to display the custom contact names instead of the real contact names?

Second, where is the latest version avaible for download? The one I'm using was from  here.
