suggestion: help friend by saralk on 07-12-2004 at 04:32 PM

When i try to help people with messenger plus, or msn messenger it cna be very very annoying to try and get them to do something.

So i am suggesting a new command like...

/sendcmd

and then you can have a parameter like

"msglock"

so sending that would open the the messenger lock dialogue on the other person's pc

No thats a bad idea cuz something like that can easily be abused (used to run other progs on persons comp).

and shutdown peoples computers

[edit]
this could actually be a good idea,  aslong as there is an option for it to be off. or even better.  it's always off until the person turned it on for the chat window only. this would stop people abusing it and would make helping someone alot easier.

or it came up as a link, so it would say

saral says:
Do you want to start the Lock Messenger control panel?

also, i wasnt suggesting that it is used for things like shutting down the pc and stuff, but just opening windows.

I think telling them to run /assist is more flexible...

Yeah... :-/

Plus people with low self-esteem would do things like
/sendcmd block :gfdrin:
