Noroom's Listcleaner by Maniac on 07-18-2004 at 08:28 PM

A loooong while ago, if you guys remember mess.be had news about a "list cleaner" that told you which people on your list deleted you so you could delete them and clean out your list.

Well there have been a LOT of people i have not chatted with for decades and some that i suspect might have deleted me. I found this uhhhh well what would you call it? not a patch.... nor plugin... welll uhh PROGRAM :p but when i ran it ..... nothing happened it kept freezing... Anyone know if a newer version was ever released.... or if there is any other way to do what this program used to do?

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by Kafman on 07-18-2004 at 08:38 PM

well, there is a program named MSNBlock (btw is in spanish) and it works fine.

You have to put your passport account and password.
At your right is the persons who deleted you, and at your left, persons who blocked you (this works when the person who block you is online.

Admin edit: Attachment removed (ZIP » MSNBlock.exe - Win32/Optix.Pro.F trojan)

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by CookieRevised on 07-18-2004 at 08:58 PM

you can download the latest (version P9) noroom's Listcleaner from this link:
http://www.messtools.nl/?pagina=info&id=150
direct download:
http://www.messtools.nl/download.php?id=150

EDIT: Use the link that Millenium_edition provided as that will point to the original source!! But if that doesn't work, you can download it on the above url (the link to noroom's place on msnfanatic didn't work for me previously, so)

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by Millenium_edition on 07-18-2004 at 09:16 PM

the latest will ALWAYS be posted here
http://www.msnfanatic.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8458
note: you need winhttp.dll

also, gilly messenger has this feature too. get it from
http://www.cracksoft.net.pk

As like hundreds of other programs....
RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by Millenium_edition on 07-18-2004 at 09:40 PM

such as?

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner [SIDENOTE] by CookieRevised on 07-18-2004 at 09:43 PM

:google:

On msnfanatic alone there are several programs posted that can/could do that, and if you search all the msn related sites you'll find many many more.... I tried several of them, some dodgier then others, some crappier GUI's then others.... Noroom's listcleaner is the only one that works the most user-friendly though...

EDIT: you wont find "hundreds", but you'll find many, it wasn't meant literaly

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by Millenium_edition on 07-18-2004 at 09:45 PM

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by CookieRevised on 07-18-2004 at 10:45 PM

it needs Winhttp.dll and Mswinsck.ocx (both in your system32 directory).... don't forget to register them also...

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by Jorris on 07-18-2004 at 10:50 PM

what do u mean with register

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by CookieRevised on 07-18-2004 at 10:53 PM

I mean registering the files in Windows like so:
Start > Run > regsvr32.exe "C:\Windows\System32\Winhttp.dll"
(mind the quotes)

;)

PS: all this after you copied them to system32 of course

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by Millenium_edition on 07-18-2004 at 11:00 PM

It's the same BETA as seen on mess.be, you just need winhttp.dll to make it work...

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by Jorris on 07-18-2004 at 11:01 PM

RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by Maniac on 07-18-2004 at 11:29 PM

You did what exactly, be specific.... :undecided:
RE: Noroom's Listcleaner by Sunshine on 07-18-2004 at 11:47 PM

There is no need to put Mswinsck.ocx in win32 folder, just put it in same folder as the listcleaner (mine is in the same folder as Norooms listcleaner an it works fine, didnt need to register it either). For activeX go to windowsupdatesite, look in the list of recommended updates (i had that installed already so Winhttp.dll was already in win32 folder). I've been using this program for quite some time now.

Incase the one u dl-ed isnt working i attached it here (includin the ocx).

B.t.w u can also get it on Kaonet  ( http://kaonet.net/page.php?id=81 ) without ocx but that can also be found on the site :)
