msn autoblocking by dragon2611 on 07-19-2004 at 08:38 AM

I have a contract on my msn that i had blocked for a while

now i no longer want them blocked so i unblocked them

problem is everytime i sign out or get disconnected when i sign back in they are blocked again :| :S

i've tryed deleting the contact then readding them but its still doing it and i don't how why it is? ^o)

is it some kind of feature of messenger or msgplus that ive activated without relising it?

if so how do i turn it off.

although in some cases it would be usefull as a feature lol ;)

Perhaps you're encountering this problem:

quote:
(mess.be, 15th of July 2004)
Allow list limits introduced

Zero1 says:
We have just recieved information that microsoft have introduced caps to the allow list of MSN Messenger.
Users that have an allow list of over 600 contacts already may experience contact list issues. If you have gone over this limit, you may recieve messages stating:
'contact name could not be unblocked, please try again later'
When microsoft were queried about this problem, they supplied us with a temporary fix.

Take a further look at this page to see how to (temporarily) solve it:

dont think its that been happening for a while now

also my allowlist doesnt have 600 people on it only about 100 so it cant be that.
