mozilla and stuff by wizzer on 08-20-2004 at 11:49 PM

I was wondering. A few months ago i changed my default browser to mozilla firefox. This means i'm having an internet life without popups. Everything seems to accept it as my default browser except msn.
Of course msn is a microsoft product. When you click "1 new email message" it automaticly opens hotmail in internet explorer. Also for the messenger plus tab. The news opens in explorer.
Could it be possible to change the script of msn or msn plus somehow, so that msn wil use your real default browser instead of explorer? Because no kidding, if I click the explorer icon once, 5 screens pop up....

big plus fan,

wizzer

To do this go to Tools > Options > General, there is a box which you tick there. If this doesn't work, if you download stuffplug, then there is a check box that if you tick allows you to open the hotmail inbox in mozilla firefox.

what the hell are you talking about? :-/. You call that helpful? It's not true... You can't force MSN to open your hotmail in another browser than IE unless you have SPNG or if you alter the program which is illegal.

i found an other way. you activate the pop3 checker but dont enter a server just enter www.hotmail.com and there you go.

SPNG is better though, as it also signs you into your MSN account.
