I doubt that they will be sold to the general public for a while, they never are after such a discovery. When they do come out, people may sell them full of warez for quite a bit of money :-/, then again thats always been a problem hasn't it. I think this is cool, but I doubt they will be selling for a small price when the come out, probably much more.

MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm *drools* there's not even many hard disks out with this type of storage space. Certainly not 'normal' size hard drives offering this.

wow, it looks taisty, what about the drives that use this disk, will they be very complex or just slightly modified from what we already have?

You might be able to use the same drives but have to use some special software...

just a thought which may not be true... :P

No it will probably be a different drive system, like how DVD Drives replaced normal CD Rom - however it odds are you wil get backwards comptable drive's e.g. ones that play DVD Rom and CD Rom :)

Can't wait for it to come out.

One thing, Why don't they make hard drives like that. It don't make sense to have 1 terabyte of cd space. It is only good for backup not instalation of programs. You can use it for any thing else really.
