IE set to work offline we cant sign you in. by Ash_ on 08-28-2004 at 04:26 PM

does this mean that MSN signs in using a webpage, if so does it send the commands through a webpage like dp changing and nick changing. if not then why does it matter that IE is set to work offline?

MSN uses alot of features of IE. FOr instance, the Fun ANd Games menu is a website, as are all the games that get launched, and the tabs that open up.

It probably uses IE's TCP/IP stack too, for communication.
