I would like to know why are we limited to only 2 images in our signatures? If a signature is too big, it will not show due to the size limit on the signatures. So, why can't we have more that 2 images?

becuse lots of little images would make the page take agers to load, if your realy that desperate you could photoshop two images to gether and use that

* tbh, if 3 are allowed, then in a month, somebody is going to ask for 4, etc....

* 2 is a nice limit, afterall it is a signature, nothing more....

* besides, limitation makes people more inventive/original...

The limit will not be changed. 2 is perfect.

Having the sig dimension limiter doesn't change my opinion... the browser will still load all the images even if they don't show up.

I also agree with Cookie's points.

Well, I suggest 3 or 4 images because some people like myself use very small (4KB or less) button images and if we have to combine them into a giant one, we'd have to make a portal page for them to click yet another link to go where they're going.  Say I want a link to the Plus! Homepage, WLM Homepage, and My Blog.  I'd need a portal just for that?  Those are my reasons behind adding more to the current limit.

It's a signitature for gods sake it's not designed for massive works of art or big pictures!  It's just meant to be a small bit of text/image to help identify posts by you, if you want more images, go post them on flickr or something!  [/rant]

Look at your signature!!  Its got links to the Soundpack DB, Scripting Resource, and Plus! Support...What if you wanted pictures instead of links?  I just dont see what it hurts as long as the large images are kept out of the sigs (a.k.a. images more than like, 20KB)
