A Change for Plus! Logs by riahc4 on 09-13-2004 at 03:31 PM

As you know since Messenger 6 logs already exist. If you go on a computer with your email address that youve never signed up on with MSN Messenger MSN will ask you if you wish to store the conversations on this computer. Logically you say no because you dont want you friend looking at your logs. But how bout if he has Messenger Plus! installed? Messenger Plus! doesnt ask if you wish to save your conversations on this computer or not; it just by default saves them. I think a popup window should be put in saying "Do you wish that Messenger Plus! log your conversations also?".

I think if you see Plus! installed on your friend's computer, you should disable its logging function immediately after you sign in ;)

yeah, every plus user has it's own options so when you disable it on your account on his computer than it's no problem at all :)

That's true, but I myself always ask my friend if s/he has logging program installed and if I can turn that off temporarily. To be honest, when it comes to such thing, it's more like a friendship issue :p

but i agree that it should display a dialog or simply have the option disabled by default. Cause many people just dont like them. my friends always ask me how to disable the logging of their chats after they install plus! -_-
