Well I am going to buy an electric guitar (ya- I'm not in enough debt with my car :dodgy:...:P) and I wanted to know what you guys thought of this one:

Peavey Raptor® Plus EXP Sunburst
Item # 00489440
Color Shown: Sunburst
MSRP: $199.99 (Canadian)

More info HERE
Note: There is a deal on right now, so for +$100 it comes with an amp, chords, strings, seasonal adjustments, picks, a strap, a tuner, a case and a few other things...

So....post what you think....should I buy it?
If not - then what do you reccomend for one that's not too too expensive?

Hm, Peavey is a good brand. I'd prefer an Ibanez or a Fender (I'm looking forward to buying a Strato), but Peavey is very good, too. (Y)

Its nice but i prefer the fender strat shape, that one's abit off.
But gibson les pauls are the best no doubt ;) if you've got cash that is :)

I just bougt this one:

[Image: fif=720169.fpx&obj=iip,1.0&wid=300&hei=7...1&cvt=jpeg]

Only this one is from Amuse and mine is from Stagg, but it looks the same. I also bought extra strings, a cable, a bag.

At a total I paid about €175,00, that's about the same in dollars.

And when I bougt it the guitarist from Acda en De Munnik was there too so I also got his autograph :-)

That's about $212 USD or $275 Canadian o.O (according to http://www.xe.com )
Also: accept for the third nob, and it has no humbucker...

Btw - nobody (accept Traxor - but who cares what the hell he says :refuck:.........:P) has actually said if I should/shouldn't buy it...

Blade: If you like the guitar get it, its got good specs for a cheep guitar. But you dont know how it plays till you get it (unless you've played it in a shop)
So follow what your gut says

I don't like the shape of it but it's ok for your first guitar, and the deal sounds good.
I only bought a cheap guitar for my first and a cheap amp but it's hard to really appreciate a more expensive model until you start learning and playing.
