I don't think you can do that, because of the way the protocole works....

well it should be possible because if u think about it u can put russin in ur nick-nameand it turns out in russian (note: russian is a different font) so it should be possible to at least code 1 font to be in ur nick

but won't it mess up someone else's computer since they dun hv a certain code for a certain font

There is no way to change the font in the name in the way like you would change the text font in a conversation. However, some characters seem to exist that change the font of your name if you put it in front of it; this might or might not work, and not all contacts might be able to see it.
Read Nickname fonts and Plugin idea different fonts in name; you might find useful things there, but also signs that it does not (always) work.
