With a NTFS compatible (2000) bootdisk, and then run

code:
format c: /FS:NTFS
You can also add the parameter /Q to use Quick Format :D

OR you could just use your OS CD. What ever OS you are going to install you could use the CD (XP being the easiest).

edit: You just have to go through the install process and when you choose the partion to install the OS on (which is near the beginning) you can delete the partion then remake it (this is 100% for XP installion and 99.9% Win98 too, probably the rest also).

Yes if you put in your WinXP CD and restart (making sure your BIOS loads the CDROM drive first) it will load into Windows Setup. The first option is to repair (you'd choose no) and then I think after that it will ask you what partion you want to put it on (here you'd just delete the existing one and then make the new one).

If you follow step by step on what the CD tells you to do, you won't get lost and you'll know what part I'm talking about.
