All like 500 custom emotions i got on my quik icon panel show but wen i clik on then all that comes up is the keyboard shortcup, and wen i go to 'My Custom Emoticons...' none of them are there, how do i get them back without having to add all the emoticons again?

humm, I am experiencing the same problem. I've tried to install new emoticons but they don't seem to work either. 
Help!

If ur custom emotes keep disappearing go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger.
Where C is your system drive and User is your user name, now choose what you think is the folder corresponding to ur email adress and delete the "CustomEmoticons" folder in it. Restart MSN and re-add your emotes, manually or with an adder/manager from http://www.mess.be
