plus contact on desctop doesn't take into effect when someone is using web messager. It currently shows normal green man. It should show attached image. RE: Web messenger by stuartbennett on 10-08-2004 at 06:24 AM i dunno now i know what that icon means thats great but as for knowing if there will be a fix in the next version of plus i cant say. i have only seen that icon on my contacts when i was using msn messenger 7.0 since downgrading to 6.2 i havent seen it again. how does one access web messenger anyways? RE: Web messenger by matty on 10-08-2004 at 06:33 AM
quote:The icon means that your contact is using the Official Web based Messenger from Microsoft. http://webmessenger.msn.com/ Note: Now this only happens when using Microsofts Web based Messenger and no others. It will be fixed i bet once Patchou sees the tread. RE: Web messenger by Lilo on 10-08-2004 at 07:29 AM
quote: Actually, i hope he doesn't change it, because now you can finally "see" what your contact's status is, instead of only seeing that blue thingy (no matter what their status is, online, away, busy, etc) RE: Web messenger by matty on 10-08-2004 at 04:07 PM
quote:Using the Plus! Tweak program you can have your floating contacts display their actual status. Busy/Away/BRB whichever (example you block them and want to see their status. You can) RE: Web messenger by user27089 on 10-08-2004 at 04:19 PM
quote: Thats not entirely correct, AFAIK you can see this with most messengers, I can see it when I use msn 6.2 (which is constantly).. RE: Web messenger by Bradl3y on 10-10-2004 at 05:06 PM hmm, new feature of plus should be the ability to pick that as your icon, i want to feel special, haha RE: Web messenger by Vantage on 10-10-2004 at 06:33 PM that would be against the .exe no? RE: Web messenger by Plik on 10-10-2004 at 06:42 PM

quote:it can't be fixed, unless you do packet sniffing or stuff like that. unless you are a genious and can see the difference between icons ![]() RE: Web messenger by stuartbennett on 10-10-2004 at 07:21 PM wow a messenger plus icon would be cool. RE: Web messenger by saralk on 10-10-2004 at 08:18 PM
quote: why not, how do you think MSN Messenger sees that the person is mobile? RE: Web messenger by Millenium_edition on 10-11-2004 at 04:12 PM
