Beside each sub forum's name could there be a [ New Thread ] link that will take you directly to the newthread.php page for that forum? It might make the index look messy but it might also be a good idea.

We had little icons on the index once that did just that, but they were removed from myBulletinBoard when RC1 came, I believe.

It makes creating a new thread faster instead of having to click the forum and click new thread, specially when your connection is running extremly slow like mine is today

Yes, indeed this would be useful...but is it really worth it?
I mean it may make the forum even more lazy to use, but tbh I don't see a need...

Some would argue thats a good thing actually.

As for not seeing the need, well it would require loading one less page, so surely it would be beneficial. How much it would be used is the deciding factor.

I'm against replacing the "new thread" link on the index. I think it encourages newbies to skip actually looking at the forum and the sticky threads. :dodgy:

i reckon it should happen cause its realy anoying i only eva not use the quick post option if i need to add an attachment so yes i think its a good idea
