Problems with MSN? News from the source! by Qucumber on 10-11-2004 at 08:10 AM

I work for MSN - this is the latest news on what is going on... thought you all might like to know! (I am sure most of you know this for the most part, but thought you might like to hear it right from the mouth of MSN)

Will keep you posted if I hear anything else!

if i not wrong, one of the reason why the server is down cos of the leak in the MSN Messenger 7.0.0250 BETA. trying to do something to the server to stop the usage of the new version again.

RE: Problems with MSN? News from the source! by Qucumber on 10-11-2004 at 03:46 PM

I am not actually at work, I am just logging into my "tools" from home... we have this website called "Support Web" that I am able to log into from home... and that is where I am checking for information.  If I were able to talk to someone from work I would tell you exactly what is going on... but my computer won't even sign INTO msn - so I am assuming the problem is not fixed.

As for the messenger 7 - I know that they are trying to get everyone to downgrade because of some security flaws in messenger 7.

RE: Problems with MSN? News from the source! by Dutchman on 10-11-2004 at 06:26 PM

well I got to work for school and get some stuff :S OMFG theyjust don't understand that it could be damn important for someone :S they should e-mail everyone at least 1 day before they do this kind of shit :S

RE: Problems with MSN? News from the source! by Qucumber on 10-11-2004 at 06:31 PM

They can't e-mail everyone before they do it... sometimes they don't know, sometimes they do - but there are far too many people to e-mail.  And someone in the MSN policy is does say that it is only for personal use.
