messenger discovery does auto responder. for offline msg im not so sure

maven@bot2k3.com has this as one of its options, you choose who you want to send the message to, and your friends talk to the bot and ask if anyones messaged it, then it tells htem what email sent it etc

If you wanna state things which you've picked up on the messenger beta chat, then state them correctly instead of starting a rumour.
The experts have said that "they are evaluating it". This means: it is still an idea on the very big todo list of suggestions. And it doesn't mean it WILL be implemented. It is quite possible that it will be dismissed completely. This isn't for the near futur...

Maybe you should say where you have seen this, since you can say: "It is quite possible that it will be dismissed completely. This isn't for the near futur... "

That is exactly what "evaluating" means...
Evaluating doesn't mean it is going to be added for sure ("is coming").

Such feature demand much work, it isn't some small feature and servers need to be adapted to handle it, protocols need to be changed, etc... etc..., also the word "evaluating" etc. Other, much "easier"/smaller things to implement, have been evaluated in the past and never heard of since, so...
Also "dismissing" is what you can get when you're "evaluating"...

Also see above... Also the other replies from the other experts: some even don't mention "upcoming"...
All I say is that saying it "WILL be there" is not correct at all and people will only read what they want to read and this is how rumours start. Saying "it can be possible in the futur" is more correct.

Hi, I am the creator of original Offline Messenger (offmess@hotmail.com)! It's currently down as I'm rewriting it to run more efficiently as people spammed the last one, as well as we had almost 10,000 users; so I had to develop a better system of managing and handling users. My goal for a re-release date is November 15th, and I'm looking forward to sticking it. Stay tuned over at Psyko's Realm for updates and brand new information pertaining to the new OMv2!
