MSN Tray icon Dosnt load upon startup by Pyroteq on 10-21-2004 at 02:12 AM
problem: Upon startup messenger loads (Yes it loads because you see it come up and you can sign in e.t.c alerts come up.)
But the tray icon never appears therefore when i close the contacts window i cant use msn and have to exit and open msn again (getting a you-signed-in-on-another-computer error) to use it and then the tray icon appears. Any ideas?

is it Windows Messenger? Ive had the same problem, I just disabled it and used MSN instead.

Does sound like Windows Messenger - I also had problems when first installed XP.
I suggest you follow the instructions on this page to uninstall Windows Messenger - http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/tune-05.html

i suggest you don't
because window message has features that other things need, like remote assistance

Its NOT windows messenger, it is msn messenger 6.2.0137
