Can anyone help me on my way to C++ by _Humphreys on 10-21-2004 at 06:17 PM

I would like to learn C++ inspired by Patchou and plus! I would like to make something useful if anyone could post what I need to begin and post a good guide to learning C++ I would appreciated it this may sound like I am a n00b but free Gmail account to people who help and no doubt someone like WDZ or Matty will reply they probs have a Gmail account or don't want one so the only thing I can do is give you respect and rate you what you deserve.

http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial.html seems good. altough c++ is hard, especially if you're not good at maths.

If you want to make useful things quickly, I suggest visual basic. It has many advantages (but is very slow, and not liked by c++ programmers)
