Wondered if it would be possible to leave an email symbol in the system tray when you have new POP email, and have that email program that the POP email is assigned to open when double clicked? (ala Yahoo Messenger).

Even better would be a different colour symbol per different POP account. This would be ideal for people such as myself who leave MSN open but not the main MSN window and go out. Saves having to open the main window, see if you have xx emails, then check each POP account so see which one it is?

sounds useful would definetly save you having to load up the MSN window and clicking "New e-mail Messages" (not that that's an awful lot of work ).

perhaps there could be a notification when the email icon is displayed in the system tray, like a "speech-bubble" pop up that says "You have x new email(s)" where x is a number...

Isn't there a pop-up already?

Maybe make it for hotmail as well, it would make it a lot easier if you miss the pop-up (while playing games, etc.)
