Incorrect number of emails - Printable Version

I have enabled pop-mail checking feature, and since then i have this problem: instead of displaying number of NEW e-mails, messenger is displaying the number of TOTAL emails in my non-hotmail pop email account. What do i do?

You can just move all your read emails into another folder and allow all the new ones to be counted in your inbox so it notifies you the correct number of new emails.

what is your email provider (ie: hotmail)?

Unfortunately, there's not much I can do about this... Messenger Plus! dispays the number of emails as returned by the server. As Marissa said, maybe moving the emails in another "folder" will solve the problem. Messenger Plus! 3.40 will try to improve the situation but the basic problem will stay.
