Google Desktop Search: how does it work? by sasquatch on 11-28-2004 at 03:10 AM

just wondering if anyone has checked it out.

i always wondered where they keep a cache of all the stuff on ur computer and if its on my computer, how can i access it? anyone know?

also, i heard rumours bout google turning desktop search into a P2P network eventually where u can search other ppl's desktop's to find files then dl them

anyone have any info on that?

1) The Desktop Search probably just searches like Windows' Find utility, but more flexible and powerful.
2) Some how I doubt this.
