Installing Windows XP Media Center Edition by .blade// on 12-10-2004 at 04:52 PM

I'm having quite a few problems, aren't I? :P

Yesterday I tried installing Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 on my main computer (already installed it on my seccondary) and I had a few problems. On my seccondary PC it asked for CD2 @ aprox. 38 min remaining in installation, with my primary it didn't, instead I got a pop-up box stating a problem with my tape driver :dodgy:. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do bcz now all it installed is Windows XP Pro. without media center or any of the features on CD 2 which is why I bothered to get it.

The PC is a Dell Dimesnsions 8200 from 2001
1.8 Ghz
256 mb DDR ram
DvD reader
DvD +/- R/Rw
80 GB HDD = Windows XP Professional (trying to install it here)
120 GB HDD = Microsoft Windows Codename Longhorn 4074

You could just copy everything from the hard drive of the secondary computer onto the one your trying to install it on.

I don't use Longhorn :P I use it as my seccondary HDD and once in a while show my friends Longhorn (I am using 55GB of 120GB on it)
